Gut and Grace 4-day Retreat

A women's retreat with Rachel Fobert and Paulina Wegrzyn. Join us for days of learning, movement and relaxation, and of course good food.

This weekend is unlike anything you’ve seen before.

  1. You will learn what is possible when it comes to your gut heath, without us overpromising and underdelivering (we have all been there). Having digestive issues is not your destiny, no matter how difficult it feels to shake the bloating, or have a normal bowel movement.

  2. This retreat is designed and led by experienced health care providers, that understand the science of your gut and pelvic floor. Join Naturopathic Doctor Rachel Fobert and Physical Therapist Paulina Wegrzyn for a long weekend of learning and restoration.

  3. Key features include celebrating your body through movement, mindset shifts and a simple photoshoot where you get to take home your favourite shots, as well as balanced meals that prioritize gut focused nutrition.

Through evidence-based strategies in an informal setting, your retreat leaders will teach you to let go of expectations, and to understand your body for what it is: a gloriously imperfect and wonderful thing. 

Paulina and Rachel will both lead yoga sessions which will focus on helping your pelvic floor and abdomen move freely and reconnect your mind and body. Paulina and Rachel will lead two thirty minute breath work sessions to help regulate your vagus nerve and calm your nervous system.

  • Enjoy the outdoors and get your gut moving with a gentle digestive walk.

  • Join pelvic floor physical therapist Paulina and learn how to connect your core to your pelvic floor.

  • Lecture with Rachel: The Mind-Gut-Body Connetion.

  • Free time to enjoy a walk, solo time in your room, a hot tub, or a sauna.

  • Breathwork + Vagus Nerve Relaxation with Paulina.

  • A fireside chat to feed your soul.

  • Nighty night!

Your Gut and Grace Retreat is located in Naramata, BC. Directions will be provided with your ticket purchase.

Accommodations Options Include:

  1. Single B&B rooms. Each room is private, with its own washroom and is located in the same building as all indoor retreat activities and meals. Each room comes with a kettle and a mini fridge.

  2. Shared cottages. Each cottage has one private room, and one room shared room with two single beds. Each cottage has a full kitchen.

Accommodations are a 10 minute walk into a small town that has a cafe and small grocery store.

  • You can expect a weekend of levity, learning, and growth. We are committed to helping you gain awareness of how your central nervous system and gut interplay to help you with your digestion. We leave stuffiness at the door of a Gut and Grace weekend! Rachel and Paulina want to help you take control of your own health by teaching you tried and true strategies to manage the bloat. It’s not about perfection but about progress, and we want to help you take that first step towards improving your symptoms. 

  • Our menu has been designed to keep bloating and constipation in mind. For this reason, dairy will not be present on the menu. We will feature whole, balanced meals designed to help optimize your carb, protein, and fibre intake throughout the weekend. If you have any other dietary restrictions, please let us know in advance, and we will do our absolute best to accommodate these needs.

  • Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate partial availability. Our retreat is designed with community in mind, and without the whole weekend, we don’t think we can serve you the same experience. If you can’t make this retreat, we hope we will see you at the next one!

  • Yes! We do have a package option for those that live locally in Kelowna, BC and choose to stay at their own homes in the evenings.

  • Gut and Grace is unable to offer payment or installment plans for payments at this time.
